Dear Members,
We should be seeing hints of fall in the air. However, it feels like we should still be getting ready to head off to the beach! Hopefully, we will be pulling our sweaters out of storage soon and we will be getting ready to greet those little ones in their costumes.
I really enjoyed our speaker, Mr. Mulling, last month. He was very informative and if you or your company find yourselves in need of developing leaders I would suggest contacting The Mulling Corporation. Mr. Mulling will be hosting a radio talk show beginning September 21st on GA Public Radio. He also has written a book titled Get Your Life Back by Taking Control of Your Career, which is available now. After hearing the statistics presented by Mr. Mulling, I plan to purchase Mr. Mulling's book to insure that I keep control of my career. Our October speaker will be Jim Brieske. Jim will provide us with an update on legislation affecting our industry before the Georgia House and Senate.
Our annual Ethics Seminar and Fall Outing was a great time to be had by all! What better way to get your ethics by viewing the sea world at the Georgia Aquarium? If you missed it this year be sure to put it on your calendar for next year. The committee will be hard at working making next year's event even bigger and better. Thanks to all of the committee members for all of your hard work. I would also like to extend a very special thanks to our sponsors.
